To drive participation and the success of open source projects that are strategic to Citrix through particpation in their development and adoption.
The Open@Citrix website is an evolution from its beginning it was the original website of CloudStack, the then open source project of Cloud.com. Eventually after Citrix acquired Cloud.com and donated the CloudStack code to the Apache Foundation the website evolved to BuildaCloud.org, a community site for the collaboration and training of users on open source cloud computing. Now it serves as a hub for Citrix to interact with the open source community and provide information on projects they are working on and the individuals who help make that possible.
